We are Greg & Carol Rosini. Greg and I met in 2006 and in July of 2008 we blended our family of five children. It has since expanded with three grandkids and two fur babies. I'm sure you will see our fur babies (Lucy & Ethel) about the winery as well as their adorable faces on their very own wine bottles!
In January of 2018 we purchased the Double D Ranch, a 25 acre property in the heart of Rockwall County. The property came with three ponds, two barns, and a house with a pool. The house was built in 1997 and needed a full renovation. It took about 5 months to complete the renovations on the house and pool. It is now listed on VRBO and we had our first renters in June of 2018.
In March of 2019 we planted our first vineyard of Blanc du Bois. Although we are looking forward to making wine with our estate grapes we will be buying the bulk of our grapes from the high plains, east Texas and central Texas. In 2019 we purchased over 19 tons of grapes to make our first wines. We are doing a Blanc du Bois (Dry and Semi-sweet), Viognier, Cabernet Sauvignon, Tempranillo and a Red Blend of Malbec and Dolcetto grapes. We will continue to expand our menu with different varietals as the grapes become available to us. Please visit our wine menu for the current list of wines available at the winery.
We had a lovely evening at the Rossini Vineyards. The wine was wonderful! The food was delicious and the live music was fantastic! We sat outside and enjoyed the pond with the fountain. The service was outstanding! We will definitely go again!
Gorgeous winery. Love their cab. Sat outside and enjoyed the lake. Ate the hamburger flatbread. OMG. It's was delicious. Staff members are friendly and prompt. Nice people. Had a good time here. Very relaxing and stress free. Thank you!
This place is a hidden gem! Great ambience, great wine, and friendly staff. We did the wine tasting and then ended up ordering a bottle of the sweet red. We also got the charcuterie board and hummus platter. Everything was great! Highly recommend this place! Go support this locally owned business!
Sunday brunch, 11:30 am. Place was quiet - only a few other folks in there. One birthday bash was happening in the private indoor room. Their wine is very good. We had a bottle of the Aglianico. Wifey had the Southwest Egg Benedict and I had the Southern Breakfast. Don't let the name fool you. This is the hipster version but it was still awesome without the extra weight afterwards in your gut. Great winery with a wonderful ambiance inside and out.
Rosini's is a fun place with a great patio and fabulous wine. The people there are so nice and wonderful to be outside on a nice day. You can get some food or even a winearita. Highly recommend checking it out.
